How do I get control of 'MY' machine?

I want to access "application data" under "All Users". It won't let me. I
am the admin but it still won't let me. McAfee ask me to access their
software under application data to delete a file and reboot to correct a
problem. I could access these kinds of files in XP (good old XP, I miss
you).

Plus, the Vista Defrag sucks, no status display so you have some idea how
much time it's going to take. So now I'm using O&O Defrag.

That's a NTFS junction point not an actual file. See this Wikipedia article
for an explanation as to what is going on:

Saucy

That is not a folder, it is a junction point, as are most "folders" with the
shortcut symbol on the icon.
The Vista version of "Application Data" is "AppData", under your username.

well you can try as you want but pressing the ctrlbutton will not give you
control, go figure that one out lol
