How do I get back a mistaken deleted e-mail?

jl

I mistakenly deleted a email message from deleted item folder. Is there
anyway that I can get back the e-mail that I mistaken deleted? Since I can
ask for sender to resend the e-mail to me but I really do not like to let
sender to know that I had mistaken to delet the e-mail they had sent to me.

Thank you very much for someone can help.

If you are using Exchange (ie. corporate environment), you can select Tools,
Recover Deleted Items.

If you don't you could find a "Previous Versions" item of your Outlook PST
file. Find the pst file (located under
%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook), right click on it and select
Previous Versions tab - recover a previous version using a different file
name and open in Outlook using File, Open, Outlook Data File command.

If you are not using Exchange and you have deleted the item from your deleted items folder, you are out of luck. If, by any chance, you still have a copy of the item on your ISP mail server, you can forward it to yourself but you must have the option to "leave items on server" already turned on when it was received.
