How do I get auto forwarding of e-mail to work more than 1x?

In Outlook 2002, I set up a rule to auto forward certain e-mails to certain
addresses. The rule only works on the first e-mail that satisfies rule, but
not on subsequent e-mails until computer is restarted. How do I get it to
work all of the time?

Are you using Exchange? If so, I believe it's an Exchange setting.

No, I'm not using Exchange. I receive e-mail directly from e-mail/internet
service provider.
