How do I get a reminder in Calendar of a user-defined date field .

I've set up 3 user-defined date fields in Contacts with the birthdays of the
contact's partner and children. The pre-defined date fields of Birthday and
Anniversary display a reminder in my Calendar, but not the user-defined date
fields.

I'm using Outlook 2002. Can anyone advise whether/how this is possible? Many
thanks.

YOu will need to create a recurring event for the non-default birthdays.

Thanks - I knew I could enter them all manually into Calendar and get them to
display if I stored them as recurring events, but I had been hoping (since
they are all stored in my Contacts file already) that the Calendar could be
configured to do this automatically. Since it would appear that it can't,
I'll either type them all in again, or store them as separate (associated)
contacts, as suggested in your reply to another query.

Thanks for the prompt response.
