From the Menu, select File > Send To > Mail Recipient (or Mail Recipient (as
Attachment) if you want), fill in the e-mail address and anything you want
to add and send it.
Thank you Tony for your help. I have done exactly what you have suggested,
except I cannot find a sent key, so I can forward the letter to the e-mail
address. Where is the sent key? Thanks.
Thanks again tony, I too am using word and am trying to send a letter I wrote
in work to my e-mail address, but I am not being allowed to sent it. Above
the "to" line it says " this e-mail has not been sent " and there are no
buttons to push that will sent the e-mail. I don't understand and would
really like to find an answer. thanks.
Sorry but I don't know how it can not be there - with either Outlook or
Outlook Express (I can't be sure about other e-mail clients) it's an
integral part of the Envelope toolbar - if you have the "To", "Cc", etc, you
have the Send (or Send A Copy or similar) button. There may be some setting
somewhere (either in the e-mail client or Word) that removes it but I
couldn't see any on a quick look.
If the mail client is not set to send messages immediately, the message will
be sent to the Outbox but will not actually be sent until you use Send and
Receive in the client.
