send letter to a mail recipient sends all letters

Hello I just got Word 2003 I also have outlook 2003 . I have a file that
consists of about 50 letters. My cusotmer claims he never received my letter
so I want to resend just one letter from this file either as an attachment or
as an e mail. I tried file > send > mail recipient or mail as an
attachment but it copies all the letters. How do I just send one letter.
Thanks

You'll need to cut that letter out of the batch and save it as a separate
document. If you include the section break at the end of the letter, the
formatting should be preserved. Then send that as an attachment.

Alternatively, since it would appear that the letter file is the result of a
mail merge, you could repeat the merge with just that one record selected.

My mistake - I misread your question. I thought you wanted to send him all
50 but in a single email.
