how do i format text boxes in powerpoint 2000

i am having problems inserting previous files into ppt's. inserted slides
have text boxes with white backgrounds and black outlines on every slide. i
have to the manually reformat EACH ONE. this is vary annoying when doing
presentations of 100 + slides. please help.

Might have to do with your slide color scheme.
