How do I fix orphans without line & page break tab?

1. Select the paragraphs in which you want to control widows and orphans.
2. On the Format menu, click Paragraph, and then click the Line and Page
Breaks tab.
3. Select the Widow/Orphan control check box.

For some purposes, you might also need to use 'Keep with next'.

If you mean that you want to access the option without using the
dialog box, you can do the following: On the Tools menu, click
Customize. Click the Commands tab. Under "Categories", choose the "All
commands" option, and locate the "ParaWidowOrphanControl" command,
which you can drag to any toolbar for easy access. Note, however, that
it would be more efficient to make use of paragraph styles with the
desired setting.
