How do I fix "no certificates that can be use" message on outlook

When replying or sending an email from Outlook installed on XP system I
receive the message
" Microsoft outlook could not sign or encrypt this message becuase you have
no certificates which can be used to send from the e-mail address ........"

Can you please help me to fix.

unless you have a digital signature/encryption certificate, you should go
into Tools/Options/Security and disable the settings to use encrypted content
and digital signatures.

Alex,

You are a star. thank you very much. I'm not too sure how the settings
changed cause it's only me that uses the computer....these things happen
though for the strangest reasons.
