How do I fix Microsoft Office Outlook after it freezes up,

I am using Microsoft Office Outlook version 2003
I tried to forward and attachment a picture a friend took and sent to me.
Microsoft Office Outlook shows me this message:
"Unable to load personal free/busy data. The Calencar folder could not be
found."
I can not close the message I tried to sent.
I am unable to send or receive messages since.
 
I have been able to 'fix' the problem. I disconnected my cable and turned all
power off. After reconnecting I turned the computer on and all problems have
disappeared. Thank you.
However. O troed tp read tje REPLY to my question, there was nothing
written. Do I do something wrong? Do I have to press more buttons then the
reply one? Marion
