How do I find saved PivotTable Style Sheets

H all
Excel 2007 PivotTables.
I amended a Style Sheet to the Company preferred Style.
Gave it a name, applied modifications, Set as default and all is OK.
When I open a new file and look for the Customised Style Sheet, it cannot be
found.
I thought the idea was that you could modify a Style Sheet and then use it
on future files.
Can anybody help.

The styles are saved in the workbook, not in an external location.
You could copy a pivot table, that has a custom style, to another
workbook, and the custom style will be available in that workbook. Then,
delete the copied pivot table.

Thank you Debra

That worked fine.
It would go to the top of my "Wish List" for Excel 2007 to save any amended
Style Sheets so that they appeared automatically on opening a new workbook
instead of having to apply this workaround.
Thanks for your help, you have saved me a lot of grief and time.

You're welcome, and it would be a nice feature to be able to save the
custom pivot table styles and table styles.

If you have many custom styles, you could copy everything into a blank
workbook, to collect all the styles in one place. Then, delete all the
tables, and save the workbook as a template, e.g. CompanyStyles.

Use that workbook as the template for any workbooks that will contain
tables or pivot tables.
