Pivottable Size (very large from 25mb to 5mb)

Hi,
I'm wondering about the pivottable Cons? I've noticed in my spredsheet that
the size of it is rather large (25mb). So i was looking at ways to reduce
the size and noticed that there wasn't much diff by making all the formulas
values. Then i try deleting different sheets and didn't notice right away
any big jumps. that is until i deleted all the Pivottables. I have 3
pivottables with different data sources (same WS). I noticed that no matter
what the file size jumps from ~25 to 5 if i delete all 3 PT's. If i delete
any one there isn't much change, The change only occurs when you delete ALL 3
of them.

Has anyone had any experience with this kind of situation?
Is there a way to reduce the size of the PT's?

Thanks,
Josh

Pivot tables tend to be resource hogs.

If you are using entire columns (A:Z) rather than ranges (A2:Z5000) as yoru
source data, that would increase the size of the pivots.

Best thing to do when possible is avoid Pivots altogether and go with
formulas.

If necessary, run a pivot to get your row and column data set, then
copy/pastespecial values to a blank sheet and delete yoru pivot table.
