How do I find certain components to make my system

S

Shih Wee

Hi
I have already successfully deploy my run-time image for
my system. There seems to be certain functions that I
cannot access to. The functions are:
-display setting
-left click function
-usb mass storage device
I have already added the usb mass storage component and
the generic device component. Althought it's able to read
my thumb drive, but it always prompt me to format it when
I try to access it.
What are the components I need to add in order to let the
above mention to work properly.
Would apprecicate it if someome can get back to me on this.
Thanks in advance

Display control panel?
-left click function

You mean right-click? You'll need to tick the right-click function in I
think User Interface Core.

Have you got the right format included? IE do you have FAT and NTFS and CDFS
etc?

Hi,
1)I already have the control panel component. Problem is I
can access my display function in the control panel.
2)yes, I meant the right click function, sorry for the
typo error. but it's not in the user interface function
3)I'm using NTFS format and besides it shouldn't be a
problem for my thumb drive coz it's using the usb port.
Will apprecicate it if someone can help me with these.
Thanks

Did you include the Display control panel? Someone else has mentioned
exactly where this can be found, but you can search for components by name
using the filter function of Target Designer.

OK let me go and have a look for it...It is there, in the settings of the
User Interface Core component, you need to tick 'show context menu on shell
folders' and if you require it 'show context menu on taskbar'

And is the thumb drive also using NTFS? If it's using FAT, then you'll need
that component in there or it won't know how to read FAT.
