how do I fast forward video on power point

I would like to fast forward video when doing a powerpointt presentation

I'm using PPT 2003. When I click on Insert>Object as suggested above,
there is no option of "Create new" or "Media Clip" to chose from in the
radial button submenu. Is there anything else I need to do to get them
there

Click on View, Toolbars, Control toolbox to display the toolbox. Click on
the More Controls icon on the toolbox and scroll down to select Windows Media
Player. Draw your media player screen on the slide. Right click on the
Media Player and select properties. For the item URL, enter the entire path
to your video.
