How do I Enlarge the Icons on the Tools Bars ?

Is there anyway one can enlarge the icons on the
"Quick Launch" tool bar.
Saw a demo of an Imac and like the on/off zoom of
the icons. Want to
try to duplicate it on XP OS...............Thanks
!

Go to Display Properties>Appearance>Advanced and click on the "item"
section. Try each by changing the size it shows. I don't remember if any
of those are for just the Quick Launch so it's guess work. Write down the
default size for each one you change so you can go back to that if you want.

There's nothing specific for the quicklaunch bar. ALL
icons can be made larger, but not just the ql icons. I
do recall a registry edit to do so for ql, but can't
locate the data now.

There is one way to enlarge just the Quick Launch icons. Unlock the Taskbar and
right click an open area in the Quick Launch toolbar. You should see View at
the top of the menu. From there you can choose large or small icons.

I don't think this is what the OP is looking for but I thought I'd pass it
along.

Thank You Nepatsfan, it worked for me too. They
are a little
larger than I wanted but I can live with them. At
least now
I don't have to put my readers on to see them.

Seems like the print keeps getting smaller all the
time.
And if I enlarge it, it tends to overlay on the
page. Guess
they just want to get more info on page.

IMO it's rude & crude to use 6 and 8 point and often
even smaller, text on mails and web pages. Personally,
unless it's something I just gotta have, I find another
web site to use when I come across one of those. IMO
it's laziness, inconsiderat and sometimes ignorance on
the part of the authors. The ones that really bug me
are the ones that take over the text size so you can't
adjust it with the size command for text; I make big
efforts to avoid those. Then there are the dummies
that will also put black text on a dark blue background
and lock the colors so you couldnt' read it if you
wanted to ... guess I better get off my soapbox <g>

But it's so easy (usually) to make the text bigger. Just hold down the
Ctrl key and scroll the mouse wheel.

Although that's true, from a practical standpoint, it doesn't bother
me at all. I just fix it.

I'm with you *entirely* there.
