David your possibly quite correct. But, after reading the original post, the
subject line is the reverse of what is asked for in the text. In the
original text that it be without the MID file playing.

| MID files cannot be embedded into PowerPoint. What you want to do is put
| the MID files in the same folder as your PowerPoint file and then relink
| the sounds. Next, you need to send the whole folder, not just the PPT
| file so the sounds will be included. I think Michael meant to send you
