Although I have been getting so much of info on the linked files I dont seem
to get info on playing embedded sound file across my ppt show. even if plays
it either plays the entire music on the first slide and then moves on or it
abrubtly stops playing when transitioning to next slide. And also the custom
animation is not active for an embedded object. any help will be appreciated.
I need to embed so I can mail the prestation to many others with music on it.

What sound format are you using? If the music is in wav format, you can embed
the music into the presentation. If you are using other format, you can also
try to convert the music into wav format using sound convertor.

Read about how to embed your music into the presentation, where to download
sound convertors and other related information here:

After converting to wav format, for playing sound across multiple slides:
Click Slide Show > Slide Transition. Under modify transition, click on the
sound drop down bar.
Select [other sound].
Choose the wav file you want to add.
Then click OK.

Check this out for more information:
"Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)"

Does it help?
