PROBLEM:
Trying to email unopened file from desktop or my documents

When I send email from Office Outlook or click send to mail recipient from
within a file my email works fine
but if I try to send an unopened file by right clicking on it in My Desktop
or My Documents then selecting Send to mail recipient
I get the following message
Outlook Express
A Dial-Up Networking connection is already established to TADAust
Hang up 7 dial “dodoâ€

I no longer use Outlook Express but use OFFICE OUTLOOK 2003 and Dodo is an
old obsolete server ( this doesn’t happen when I actually open document and
use send to)
How do I change this?

I’ve deleted old accounts & I have already done the following but still
can’t send unopened files
1. On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
2. Select View or change existing e-mail accounts, and then click Next.
3. Click the e-mail account you want, and then click Change.
4. Make sure that the settings you see match the information you received
from your Internet service provider (ISP) or administrator. etc

It works for "open" items because you are telling it to use Outlook
immediately - it doesn't work from the file system because windows thinks
you have OE as you default mailer.

Delete the account within OE.
Delete the DUN (look in control panel, dial up networking) for Dodo.
Go to IE's tools, options, programs and set Outlook as default for mail.

The problem was finding Outlook Express
After I went to Start- Add/Remove Windows components & ticked Outlook
Express - it was a cinch - I could then reset default mailer
Thanks
