How do I email an individual slide?

Hi, I have tried just about everything and I cannot figure out how to email
an individual slide to a prospect. When we do email a prospect a slide from a
powerpoint presentation, do they have to have powerpoint to view the slide or
will it save it in a different format?

Thanks,

Darren

They will need either the full version of PowerPoint or the PowerPoint
viewer installed on their system.

If it's just one slide, you might want to save it as a picture or as a
PDF. If you have animation, this won't preserve that, but it is probably
the easiest thing to do. Alternatively, choose Save As to save it under a
different name and then delete all the other slides (this is easy in
Slide Sorter View). The recipient could use the PowerPoint Viewer to see
it without having PowerPoint.

Buildinganempire,
If you save the one slide as a presentation they will need the PowerPoint
viewer at least: you can download it here.

If you save your single slide as an image file, you could send that also.
File - save as - in the save as list choose *.jpg or another format, click
save, choose current slide or all slides as appropriate. In that case no
need to have PPT or the PPT viewer.
