how do I edit pages online using frontpage 2003?

Help I am a newbie How do i Edit web pages online front page 2003? I tried
from IE
It deleted shared borders and nav. buttons. Any help given would be greatly
appreiated.

Does your server have FrontPage extensions installed??

Do you publish using http:// or ftp:// ??

If http:// it has extensions, and you open it in FrontPage by entering the web site address:
http://yoursitename.com

Enter the user name and password when prompted.

When you do that, what you wind up with is ONE copy of your website,
and not IF, but WHEN the server crashes or is hacked, you are back to
square one. You really need to make changes on your computer them
publish to the server. At the same time, you should be making a CD
backup each time you make major changes. That has saved me many hours
of doing something over when changes didn't go as planned, or the
server became corrupted.

Correct.

However, the poster just wanted to know hoe to edit live.
I don't back mine up on a CD though.
Just a different drive.
