How do I download a word document to a CD?

Save it to the hard drive and then use your CD-mastering software to copy it
to the CD.
 
(Nothing to do with Word.) You can even do it directly through Windows
-- open the folder it's in, select the file, and on the left of the
folder display select "Copy This Document." A window then opens
showing the drives in your computer; select the CD drive (or a folder
on it) and click Copy.
