How do I disable CHKDSK

I accidently shut down my Wndows xp pro. Now every time
windows starts CHDKSK automatically comes on. How do I
stop CHKDSK from automatically loads on start up? I tried
a little utility from 'kellys-korner-xp.com' to disable
CHKDSK but didn't work. Please help. Thanks
 
Thanks for the reply. I have done just that, many times!!
BUT CHKDSK STILL RUNS ON STARTING.
 
Go to Help/Support. Type in search "fsutil", without the quotes. Click on
"dirty bit" and read a bit. It will solve your problems, I think!

It's amazing what you can find if you read in the help section! (-:
