How do I delete them?

Once when I went to change my desktop background, I was going through the
choices from My Picture file and somehow I transferred the whole picture
file to this site. Now there are way too many picks. I don't know how to
delete them all other than the ones I use over and over. Can anyone tell me
how to do this?

No files were transferred, no duplicates created. The only change is a
longer list displayed under Display Properties> Desktop. To shorten the
list, either

A) move the image files in My Pictures to another folder (leaving only
files or copies of files that you are likely to use for wallpaper)

or

B) move more pictures into My Pictures (over 100).

A always works. B works for most folks including me.
