how do i delete picture manager from my emails?

whenever i try to open an attachment in my emails, it comes up as Picture
Manager rather than opening the attachment, and I cannot go any further other
than to look at photos of sites I've visited. very frustrating

Thank you for answering so quickly. I don't know what the application is
called, but attachments used to be microsoft something or other. Now it's
Microsoft picture manager. I don't know why it started doing this or how to
get rid of it, but I cannot open anything. I have a free email address,
which I forward them to, and they open without any problem, but this is my
main email address and there's hundreds of photos, everything from the
newpapers I read in the morning, to catalogs (I'm talking every single photo
in a catalog!) to you name it! Any site I've looked at that has a photo,
which is pretty much every one of them, the photos come up.

Until you decide what image application you'd like Outlook to use to open
your images, there's no way anyone can advise you how to change things.
