how do I delete only future recurring appointments

P

Peter Corry

Please help -

How would I be able to delete all future recurring appointments that I have
scheduled with no end date, without impacting the appointments that occurred
in the past (some of which were moved to different days and/or times)?
I don't want to lose the event completely, just get rid of all the future
ones that I have in the calendar that won't be happening anymore.
I believe that if I change the end date of the recurring item
I will lose the previously modified events.

Thanks in advance!
Peter

I'm guessing this is the post? (pasted below)
so the moral is, if you ever want to retain any custom info, or change a
recurrence from eternal to finite, _never_ create an unending recurring
event (unless it's a birthday or similar)?

I'm thinking I may be able to export the completed events, then delete the
recurring appointment and import the completed events again? Any problems
with that plan?

Thanks again,
Peter

:
You would have to delete each recurrence instance separately (manually).

looking to know if outlook can handle recurring appointments in this
manner
(I haven't been able to get outlook 2000 to work the way I want):

I have a recurring appointment for a meeting (indefinitely) that has a
different note for each occurrence. the notes reflect points of interest
from that dates meeting.

can I delete all appointments after a certain date without loosing the
changes made to each appointment's notes? I've lost the data several
times
already.

Thanks,
Wilson.

no, started to but it said I would lose any events that had been modified.
Would prefer to keep the "history"

Sorry, tried to find the previous post with the answer but couldn't find it

Thanks
Peter.
