How do I delete IMAP mail box messages?

When I delete IMAP mail box message I am only marking
this message for deletion. I was told that somewhere in
Outlook there is an option to purge deleted messages. I
can't find it. Does anyone know how to do this?

I believe it's on the Tools menu. If it isn't there, check Actions.

While you have the imap specific mailbox selected go to edit->purge deleted
messages
