My windows 98 is only allowing me to boot in safe mode,
so I added memory, and I want to upgrade to XP. However,
I need to delete drive to install XP. What do I do at
this point?

Hello

Once you move your data off, the drive that you still need
reboot your pc, go into the Bios and make the cdrom the
primary boot device 1., Exit and reboot and just follow
what it says to do

Well it's giving me an error message and it's not
allowing me to boot. It did not state what the error was.
