how do i delete an email msg w/ attach too large to send

I tried to send an email with several attachments. It wound up being 16 mg.
It keeps trying to send it and I keep trying to delete it but can't. How can
I stop Outlook from continuing to try to send and/or how do I delete it from
my outbox?
