How do I delete a slide master completely?

I've followed the directions from ppt help, but they don't seem to be
complete. Thanks for any info!

Enter the slide master and delete additional slides(if you are using
templates). Then clear everything in the first slide(which you can't delete)
until it gives you a blank page.
 
I've done that, but what do I then save the blank master slide as? I'm
wanting to delete it so that when I open a new presentation all I get is a
completely empty slide (no text boxes or anything). I've seen a similar
thread and if I have to get at least a title box that I can delete, that
would be acceptable (though a totally blank slide would be preferable). I'm
doing photography presentations and prefer a 'blank palette' (sans text boxes
or any formatting) to begin.
