How do I customize Outlook Today and make it the default opening .

When I installed Office 2000 on my new machine running Windows XP Home I am
no longer able to "customize outlook today" nor make it the default opening
screen as I could with my previous computer running Windows 95. Any
suggestions as to how I can fix this problem? I did download the updates to
Office 2000.
