Outlook today as my default page

After clicking the start-up with Outlook today under the customize outlook
today button, when I open my program again, it opens with my inbox. It will
not set Outlook today as my default.

Try Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options.

Thanks Brian, I have tried that and it also indicates that outlook today is
my default page. Yet still outlook opens to my inbox.

What do you mean by a "new mail profile" how would I do this? do I have to
create a new email address? will I lose all my contacts and calandar dates?

No, but you'll need to recreate your account.

Of course not. Just point your new profile at your existing PST.
