I dont believe that you can. You could set up rules to move the mail
from each account into a folder as it's received into the global inbox,
but other than that, you're pretty much out of luck.

Mozilla, Netscape and Mozilla Thunderbird all support multiple accounts
in the way you are describing. I have 3 email accounts each with their
own set of folders in the folder list. They dont have half of the
ability that Outlook does for calendaring and contacts though

You can create Profiles, but IMO that's more trouble than it's worth. Setting
up rules to move mail to subfolders you create is much easier--if you don't
mind that other users can see your mail. To create profiles--go to Cntl
Panel, Mail, Profiles.

Why subfolders? Why not other folders at the same level as Inbox or, in
fact, other Inbox folders in completely separate PSTs?

You cannot create another Inbox. It has to have a different name, so under
Inbox makes sense. Only one Inbox per profile is allowed.

Nonsense. You can have a folder named "Inbox" in another PST (and as many
PSTs as you can stomach, each with their own folder named "Inbox"). As far
as Outlook's concerned, it's just another folder. What you can't have are
two folders with the same name in the same PST and Outlook will deliver mail
only to the Inbox folder in the delivery location PST. Nothing prevents
you, however, from creating a rule that moves mail from the delivery locaton
Inbox to another PST's Inbox folder.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER----

Part 1-----------

Create an OL profile for each of the email addresses you were assigned from
bellsouth.

Go to TOOLS>email accounts and follow from there. If you don't have all of
the info, bell south can supply it all.

PART 2------
The info below will help you to get the email for each of your addresses to
go into only OWN inbox. I have Outlook 2002, however I believe it won't be
that different in OL2003.

Go to >TOOLS > OPTIONS
Click on the tab MAIL SETUP
The second section down is SEND/RECEIVE, Click on the Send/Receive button
In the window that pops up you are about to tell Outllook, what email it
should retrieve for the profile you are presently signed into.

Click on EDIT

If you see the other profiles listed on the LEFT, click on each of the OTHER
profiles you are NOT presently signed onto, then UNCLICK the box at the top
which says "Include this account in send/receive group.

((((( NOTE: Sometimes, there will only be an icon for the present profile
listed on the left. Don't worry, just make certain that the circle at the
top IS clicked. ))))

So if you have a profiles named: angel22, bear33, dog44 and cat55. You
open OL in profile angel22. When you complete the steps above, you want
ONLY angel22, to be included in the group from send/receive. You will have
to do this on EACH profile.

So when you open profile angel22, the only email OL will download is the
email for angel22.

Take care--
