How do I create a new character please?

Hi

I need to create a character for use in word: Its a V with a . over the top.
Its for a physiology paper (and Thesis).

How do I go about this please?

Use an EQ field (which superimposes two glyphs). You'll need to experiment
with what character you want to use as the dot -- there are quite a few to
choose from; and you might need to format it using the character position
settings on the Format > Font dialog.

Once you've got it as you like, define it as an AutoText entry.
