I have received several emails with attachnents I can't open. The message
reads as follows: Windows cannot open this file: outlook.pst. To open this
file windows needs to know what program created it. Then it tells me Windows
can find it online automatically or I can look it up manually. I tried the
automatic way and ended up on a website and that was that. I'm lost, Please
help!

You need Outlook (or possibly the old Windows Messaging for pre Outlook 003
PST files) installed to open a PST file. It can't be opened directly by
clicking on the file. if you don't have Outlook then ask the sender to send
the data in another format.
