how do i convert previous word documents to vista microsoft works

Hi
How can i convert previous word documents to microsoft works and still be
able to edit them etc?
 
Some versions of Works will open Word documents directly. All versions will
open RTF format documents. WordPad will open Word documents and save in RTF
format.

Thanks for your advice unfortunately works will not open any of my word docs
nor will wordpad.
 
Are you sure they are Word documents?
If not, send me one to the link on my web site and I'll see what I can do
with it.
