How do i convert outlook 2003 files?

I have some images that were sent in outlook 2003 with extension .msg that
won't open with outlook 2002 or 2000. Is there a converter that i can
download so I can make these images viewable?

Outlook 2002 certainly uses the msg format.....do you get an error message
when you try to open it?
