How do I convert local contacts to global?

There are three of us on the server but we can't see each other's contacts
globally. How do we specify "global" on future entries and/or how to we
convert existing to "global"?

Define "global".

If you have an Exchange server, you can choose to put your contacts into a
public folder.
If you have an Exchange server, you can also choose to grant access to your
private mailbox at contacts level.
If you are using BCM, which is what this newsgroup is about, you can share
your contacts with other BCM users provided that you have installed BCM V2
Update, shared the database, and granted access to that database to your
colleagues.
