how do I convert an exe file to put on my website as a free downlo

I have no trouble putting on pdf files as downloads but I cant convert exe
file.
A vague instrcuction for converting it first has been given in online
manual but leaves out the last step.
uUgent help needed please?
 
Please explain what you mean by "converting" the exe

What "vague instruction" are you referring to?
 
You likely need to place it in a ZIP file first. Most PCs will yell and
scream at the user about the security of downloading an executable (EXE)
file.
