How do I convert a Word file to pdf?

I have a Word file that I want/need to send to a print shop that seems unable
to receive or use Word attachments, but can use pdf files. How...without
spending a fortune...can I convert a Word file into a pdf file?

Word 2007 has a downloadable PDF converter for earlier versions you could
use PrimoPDF or an online conversion service eg http://convert.neevia.com/
