I have made a detailed Powerpoint file with Linked Excel tables. Everyone
hates the links and I now need an easy way to convert each linked table to a
powerpoint table.

If you're using PowerPoint 2003 you can go to the original Excel file, select
the data you want to copy, copy it, then paste it into PowerPoint. It will
convert to a simple table (not a spreadsheet). You can adjust the column and
row widths as needed.

I have over 24 different tables. I was looking for something that was more
automated.

This may or may not work for you: if you ungroup and then regroup the Excel
table, it removes the link to Excel and leaves you with a set of PowerPoint
drawing shapes that look just like the original.

It won't be a PPT table though - more like a table after you've ungrouped it.
