How do i control the Fn key?

the blue numbers are comming up as i type instead of the letters on the same
keys. i must press the Fn key to get the letters to respond. i am using a
dell latitude can anyone help

This is not the right newsgroup for your question, but I'm guessing you
have your NumLock key "on". There's probably also a little indicator
light that indicates this. Find and press the NumLock key again to turn
it off.

With some new keyboards you need to turn the Function Lock on.
