How do I compress 30 JPEG images to send as email attachment?

In Outlook today I would like to send on an e-mail containing 30 images of
altogether 70 MB, all of them are JPEG.

I understand I need to compress these images, since an e-mail can be sent
with an attachment of up to 7 or 10 MB.

What do I do? Is there a way of sending the whole folder in a zip format.
Can the slideshow effect be achieved with an email attachment

Yes, you can ZIP an entire folder. Right click on the folder and (if you've
got no other ZIP program installed) you can choose the Send To menu and
"Compressed Folder" from there. If you've got a ZIP/compression program,
like WinZip, installed there may be an option on the context menu to
compress the folder

Hannah: assuming your JPEGs are located in one directory:
1. Select each file
2. Right-click, select Send To...
3. Select Compressed (zip) file.

Selected files will be zipped up and located in same directory. Attach this
file to your email.

Good luck zipping JPEGs - they're already compressed. I suggest you upload
your files to Yahoo Photos, or another similar site, and send your friends
the link.
E-mail is a lousy file transfer mechanism.
