How do I close the Suggested Times pane in Outlook?

I do not like the Suggested Times pane in Outlook. I never use it, and when
I'm looking for several people it takes a lot longer for free/busy time to
display. I merely want to SEE the free/busy info so I can make my own
decisions. I do not like having to wait (sometimes for minutes) for Outlook
to finish its calculations (which I never use anyway) before showing me the
raw information. Oh, and the reason I never use the suggested times is
because the people and groups I'm scheduling almost never have overlapping
free time. Is there any way I can disable this feature?

AFAIK, it can't be closed but if you make the form narrower, it won't show.
I'm not sure if it will help - and the window needs to be fairly narrow,
which also affects the size of the free/busy section.

FWIW, Outlook 2010 has an x to close the pane - I suspect there are many
others who share your feelings.
