how do i clear my address bar?

how do i clear my address bar?? when i click the little
arrow beside the address bar, a list of websites appear,
how do I clear it??

go to start>run and type

inetcpl.cpl

and select "Clear History"

I tried this and I still have a list of visited web addresses it didnt work.

This should have worked but if all else fails you can try this.

go to start>run and type

regedit

navigate to this key,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

delete the URL entries in the right hand pane.
