I just created a template for use in my powerpoint presentation. Where do I
find this custom template to insert it into my presentation?

Thanks :)
Jason.

Where on your system did you save it?

I saved it in the template folder. Btw, I think I might have the idea of
design templates mixed up with slide layout. I'm trying to make slide
layouts for learning a foreign language as vocabulary flashcards. I want the
same layout for each slide. The question slide has the english word with a
picture underneath it. Then the answer slide has the foreign word with a
sound file on the bottom right. Is there a way I can design a slide layout
like this? Thanks.

Ah.

Unfortunately, you can't create new slide layouts.

But you can rearrange the existing placeholders on the master slide in your
template so it's closer to what you're looking for when you use one of the
existing slide layouts. The text and title positioning in all of the slide
layouts is derived from where the placeholders on your master are located.
Try making the text placeholder on the master long and skinny and then
create new slides with different slide masters to see how it affecs things.
