How do I change the font in all views of Outlook?

I have figured out how to change the font for a specific e-mail or folder of
e-mails, by going to view, arrange by, custom. The problem is that on my
wide format laptop screen, all the fonts are really small, both for the
dialog boxes as well as content of e-mails and calendar and contacts and
tasks, so I have trouble seeing the words or numbers. I have fixed all the
headings etc. But for specific content or e-mails, it seems strange that I
have to go into every folder and change every one individually.
Even on Windows, I have set the font to be large or extra large, but when a
dialogue box pops up, the font is the old really small type.
Thanks
Jim

It is set in Windows - under the Appearance Tab of the display properties,
you will need to change each place where a font is displayed.

If you need further assistance, please post to a Windows XP group, the
General one gets quite a bit of traffic and so your question should be
answered pretty quickly.

Oh, forgot one other step, once you have the Appearance tab open, click on
the Advanced button for customization. Highlight each item to see how it
displays.
