How do I change formatting from endnote to normal?

I have about 30 pages in a Word 2003 document that have been typed on endnote
pages. I can't seem to change the formatting of these pages back to normal
text. I have highlighted the text (a few lines, for a test run), and clicked
Clear Formatting. The formatting box now says the text is in normal format,
but the text still behaves as though it's still in endnote format. Help!

Hi Krista,

If you do View | Normal, do the pages disappear? If so, it is not just a
formatting issue, they are actually typed in "endnote space" and Word thinks
they are all part of the last endnote. You'll need to cut and paste the
text to either a new document, or to somewhere in the main body of the
document.
