Currently when I open Explorer, the tree in the left pane shows:

Desktop
My Documents
My Computer
A:
C:
D:
E:
etc.

How can I change this order so "My Documents" will be within C: and not
show immediately below Desktop?

Hi Jim,

With a small manipulation of 'Attributes' value in the registry, this folder
may be removed from the Explorer window itself. Will see how it works.

Actually, it is under C:\, just not directly under it like in Win98. It is
actually under C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\My Documents. One way
to move it would be to right-click on the folder, select Properties, select
Move, and select the C:\ drive. Then, tell it to move the files if asked.
This will "physically" move the folder. However, it will now be visible to
anyone logged into the machine (I think).

I've already tried that. The files were transferred, but "My Documents"
remains visible immediately under Desktop.
