How do I change default file format for saving e-mails as .txt?

How do I change default file format for saving e-mails as .txt?

I want the save dialog box to always automatically choose *.txt instead of
HTML or RTF (or whatever the orginal e-mail format is).

select more than one message to save in a single file, otherwise, you cant
