How do I cancel an Auto-response when no outgoing account exists?

I stupidly hit the "Yes" button on an email received when I do not have an
Outgoing account anymore (ingoing still applies). Now everytime I hit
Send/Receive this stupid thing tries to send the Autoresponse (even though
there's no message waiting in the Outbox! and gives me an error message and
delays processing on the PC.
Can anyone tell me how to cancel this Autoresponse when I can't even find it!
Thanks
Bob

Hi Dave,
This will certainly prevent me from doing this again, thanks.
Now I just have to get rid of the "Hidden file" response.
I believe there's a reply giving me a link to a software solution.
Thanks again
Bob

Thanks for that, I finally got round to following instructions and it worked
perfectly.
Much obliged.
